Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Atlassian Platform Administrator & Business Analyst to serve as the primary business-side Atlassian platform administrator for Jira and Confluence. This individual will play a key role in coordinating the migration of our on-premises Jira and Confluence environments to Atlassian Cloud, partnering with our internal IT team and Atlassian professional services, while also owning day-to-day platform administration, governance, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, business-facing role that bridges technical administration with stakeholder engagement to ensure our Atlassian tools deliver maximum value across the organization.
Must-Have Skills:
12+ years in Data Engineering / Analytics with architecture experience
Deep expertise in Azure data ecosystem
Strong hands-on engineering and coding skills
Experience leading offshore teams
Stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and quality
In addition to core business analysis expertise, the candidate should bring secondary skills such as knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP compliance), familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM, and strong SQL and data analysis capabilities to support requirement validation and testing. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) for documentation and presentations, along with experience in preparing training materials, user guides, and process documentation, will be valuable. The ability to facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder discussions is also expected.
