Role Description
POC is seeking a detail-oriented Factory Accountant / Industrial Accounts Executive for our manufacturing facility at APIIC Atchutapuram, Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. This full-time, on-site role will be responsible for managing plant-level accounting, cost tracking, inventory control, and statutory support related to factory operations. The role works closely with production, stores, and head office accounts teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
Plant Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain daily books of accounts related to factory operations
- Record production-related transactions, expenses, and journals in Tally/ERP
- Maintain contractor, labour, utilities, and maintenance expense records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly plant expense statements
Costing & Production Accounting
- Track raw material consumption, and finished goods
- Maintain production and batch-wise cost records
- Assist in preparation of product costing and variance analysis
- Monitor yield, wastage reports in coordination with production
Inventory & Stores Accounting
- Maintain and reconcile stores ledger with physical stock
- Coordinate for stock verification and cycle counts
- Track GRN, issue slips, and material transfer records
- Maintain inventory valuation and slow-moving stock reports
- Vehicle loading and unloading records , transporter ledger etc
Statutory & Compliance Support
- Assist in GST compliance, including inward/outward supplies and reconciliation
- Support TDS, PF, ESI, and labour-related compliance data
- Maintain documentation for factory inspections and audits
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare plant-level MIS reports:
- Production vs capacity
- Cost per unit
- Power, fuel, and utility consumption
- Manpower and overtime cost
- Share reports with HO finance and management for review
Audit & Coordination
- Support internal, statutory, and cost audits
- Coordinate with HO accounts, vendors, transporters, and service providers
- Ensure proper filing of vouchers, invoices, and statutory records
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in factory/plant accounting or industrial finance (manufacturing background preferred)
Education:
- B.Com / M.Com in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA-Inter / CMA-Inter candidates preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Tally (mandatory)
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Good proficiency in MS Excel for MIS and costing sheets
Knowledge:
- Practical understanding of cost accounting, inventory control, and GST in manufacturing
- Familiarity with labour laws, PF, ESI, and contractor billing
Languages:
- Telugu (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of English
- Hindi speaking will be added advantage

- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to work in plant environment and coordinate with production teams
- High accuracy and documentation discipline
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle audits
