Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Civil Engineer to join our Head Office team. The role involves providing technical support to ongoing construction projects, reviewing drawings, coordinating with project sites, monitoring project progress, preparing BOQs, and ensuring compliance with company standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare, review, and validate BOQs (Bill of Quantities), estimates, and quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with project sites regarding technical issues, drawings, and execution methodologies.
- Review work progress reports received from project sites and monitor project schedules.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and MIS reports for management.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, vendors, and subcontractors for technical clarifications.
- Evaluate material specifications and approve technical submittals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor project costs and support cost control initiatives.
- Assist in tender preparation, technical bid evaluation, and contract documentation.
- Review site measurements, billing documents, and work completion reports submitted by project teams.
- Maintain engineering records, drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Visit project sites whenever required for inspections, meetings, and technical support.
- Support management in resolving technical challenges across multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in handling multiple projects from a Head Office or Corporate Office will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of RCC, structural works, finishing works, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, estimation, and billing.
- Understanding of project planning and scheduling.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Pay: Up to ₹55,000.00 per month
