Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP system including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase invoices, and debit/credit notes
- Assist in bank reconciliation, cash handling, and petty cash management
- Follow up on customer payments and maintain accounts receivable / payable records
- Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory return filings and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation of accounts
- Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of vouchers, bills, and financial documents
- Assist with preparation of MIS reports, expense statements, and financial summaries
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required data and documentation
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams for order-related billing and documentation
Key Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Trustworthy and disciplined approach to handling financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field; additional certification in Tally / accounting is a plus
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts, bookkeeping, or finance support roles
- Experience with Tally ERP and basic statutory compliance work preferred
- Prior experience in a trading, manufacturing, or industrial sales organization is an advantage
