Job Summary
Jayair System Private Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines used in the production of HVAC ducting components and sheet metal products, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines for sheet metal and ducting fabrication.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during production.
- Measure and inspect finished components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
- Maintain production records and job documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily and monthly targets.
- Ensure efficient material utilization and minimize wastage.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CNC machines in sheet metal, HVAC ducting, or fabrication industries.
- Knowledge of CNC programming basics is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CNC plasma, laser cutting, or turret punch machines.
- Familiarity with HVAC duct manufacturing processes.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.
