Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and organic social media management. You will work across two tracks: managing Seller Rocket's own social media presence and delivering SMM and paid social services for our client brand accounts. This role demands someone who can build content calendars, run performance campaigns, read data, and communicate results clearly — all while handling multiple accounts simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Meta Ads — Client & In-House
- Plan, set up, and manage Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns for assigned client accounts — covering awareness, retargeting, and conversion objectives
- Build and test ad creatives, copy, audiences, and campaign structures; optimise regularly based on performance data
- Monitor daily spends, CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS, and conversion metrics; flag underperforming campaigns proactively
- Manage Meta Ads for Seller Rocket's own brand — lead generation, hiring campaigns, and service promotion
- Conduct monthly Meta Ads performance reviews per client and present clear insights with recommendations
- Coordinate with the creative team for ad assets — reels, static banners, carousels — and brief them effectively
Organic Social Media Management
- Own the content calendar for Seller Rocket's LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook — planned monthly, executed weekly
- Write captions, select hashtags, and schedule posts using tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite
- Manage organic social for assigned client accounts — content planning, posting, community management
- Track organic reach, engagement rate, follower growth, and page insights; report monthly
- Collaborate on reel scripts and short-form video content with the creative and content teams
Client Account Management
- Handle SMM deliverables for multiple client accounts simultaneously — organic + paid, end to end
- Coordinate with the accounts team to understand client goals, product categories, and brand voice before building social strategy
- Deliver structured monthly performance reports per client — campaign results, content summary, next month plan
- Flag performance gaps early and escalate to the account manager with suggested solutions
Reporting & Operations
- Maintain campaign trackers, content calendars, and ad performance logs in shared sheets
- Stay updated on Meta Ads policy changes, algorithm updates, and platform feature rollouts
- Participate in weekly team reviews and contribute to improving SOPs for the SMM function
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 3–4 years minimum of hands-on experience in social media marketing
- Proven Meta Ads experience — Facebook and Instagram campaigns across awareness, traffic, lead gen, and conversion objectives (this is non-negotiable)
- Experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency setting
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite / Ads Manager
- Strong copywriting skills — captions, ad copy, and CTAs
- Ability to read campaign data and translate it into clear recommendations
- Organised and deadline-driven — able to manage multiple accounts without dropping quality
Good to Have
- Experience with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or short-form video content strategy
- Familiarity with other paid platforms — Google Ads, Flipkart Ads, or Amazon Sponsored Ads
- Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe tools for basic creative edits
- Tamil language content writing ability for regional campaigns
- Experience with e-commerce or marketplace brands

Pay: ₹9,991.13 - ₹35,712.42 per month
