Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Fashion Designing Faculty to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pattern Making, Drafting, Draping, and Garment Construction, along with the ability to deliver engaging theory and practical sessions that support students' academic and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver theory and practical classes in Fashion Design as per the academic curriculum.
- Teach subjects including Pattern Making, Drafting, Draping, Grading, Garment Construction, and Apparel Design.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and practical exercises.
- Guide students in pattern development, garment construction, and portfolio creation.
- Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain academic records and support student learning outcomes.
- Participate in curriculum development, workshops, exhibitions, and other academic activities.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Fashion Design or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- 1–5 years of teaching and/or industry experience in Fashion Design.
- Strong practical knowledge of Pattern Making, Drafting, Draping, Grading, and Garment Construction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to mentor students and foster a collaborative learning environment.
