As we accelerate our growth in western India, we are looking for a high-performing, target-driven Senior Sales Executive to anchor and expand our B2C footprint in Pune.
Position Overview
- Position Title: Senior Sales Executive
- Vertical: Residential Business (Solar Rooftop B2C)
- Experience Required: 3–5 years of proven experience in direct field sales
- Location: Pune (Deep geographical knowledge of Pune and its peripheral residential hubs is essential)
- Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar EPC
Key Responsibilities
1. High-Value Customer Acquisition & Strategy
- Drive the end-to-end B2C sales cycle, from aggressive local lead generation to closing high-value residential solar rooftop deals.
- Identify and tap into high-potential residential clusters, independent villa communities, bungalow societies, and premium residential layouts across Pune.
- Conduct detailed, consultative site surveys and preliminary feasibility assessments to build tailored customer proposals.
2. Technical-Commercial Consultation & Pitching
- Educate premium residential clients on the long-term ROI, financial benefits, net metering guidelines, and current MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company) subsidy structures.
- Deliver high-impact, technical-commercial sales pitches and product demonstrations to homeowners and resident welfare associations (RWAs).
- Lead negotiations on pricing and terms, ensuring smooth conversions while protecting company margins.
3. Execution Coordination & Lifecycle Management
- Own the customer relationship from initial handshake to final project commissioning, ensuring a seamless, premium customer experience.
- Act as a vital bridge between the customer and internal engineering/project execution teams for smooth site verification and faster installation turnarounds.
- Leverage existing client installations to build a strong network of organic referrals.
4. Market Intelligence & Mentorship
- Track and analyze competitor pricing, local marketing strategies, and regulatory changes within the Pune solar market.
- Maintain rigorous data discipline by tracking pipelines, customer touchpoints, and conversions in the CRM.
- Provide local market guidance and handholding to junior sales executives in the region.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years of solid experience in B2C field sales. Direct experience in Residential Solar Rooftop sales is highly preferred. Candidates with exceptional track records in high-value B2C sectors like Premium Real Estate, Luxury Consumer Durables, Automation Systems, or high-end Insurance in Pune will also be considered.
- Education: Graduate in any discipline. A background in engineering (B.Tech/Diploma) or business administration (BBA/MBA) is a strong advantage.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Marathi and Hindi to build strong rapport with local homeowners; professional proficiency in English for corporate/RWA communication.
- Local Market Knowledge: Deep familiarity with Pune’s residential pockets (e.g., Kothrud, Baner, Wakad, Hadapsar, Pimple Saudagar, etc.).
- Mobility: Must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for intensive local field engagement.
- Core Competencies: Advanced negotiation tactics, high emotional intelligence, result-oriented mindset, and the resilience required for high-velocity field sales.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
