Position Overview
We are looking for a Football Coach to effectively train and develop players within our football pathways. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging age-appropriate coaching sessions to ensure accelerated player development amongst players across multiple age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Player Development
- Design and implement training sessions based on the Game Theory football curriculum
- Conduct assessments and monitor development, with an aim of progressing players from Beginner to Intermediate to Advance level
Monitor and assess player progress, providing individualised feedback to foster continuous development.
2. Squad Management
- Organise and manage age-appropriate and skill-appropriate squads, ensuring that all players are placed in environments that suit their developmental stage.
- Oversee team selection, ensuring a balance between player development and competitive success.
- Develop a healthy professional relationship with all players and their parents
- Prioritise the conversion of players attending trial classes into long-term players of Game Theory
3. Matchday Management
- Prepare and manage teams on match days, ensuring players are well-prepared, strategies are effectively communicated, and all logistical aspects are handled smoothly.
- Provide in-game coaching and make tactical adjustments to optimize team performance.
- Ensure post-match analysis and feedback are conducted to support ongoing player and team development.
4. Pathway Coordination
- Work closely with the Football Technical Director to ensure the pathways are effectively structured, offering clear progression routes for players.
- Regularly review the pathway structure, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement to optimise player development outcomes.
5. Community Engagement
- Engage with parents and other community stakeholders (league official governing bodies etc) to promote Game Theory football pathways and related events.
- Represent the club in community initiatives, building strong relationships that support the club’s mission and enhance its reputation.
6. Adhering to Game Theory Protocols
- Arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the training session
- Prepare football equipment to setup the training session
- Update forms and sheets to ensure customer progress or assessments
- Inform of any important instances that occur before, during or after the training session or matches
- Adhere to all company policies and HR protocols
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
