- Design Systems: Generate 3D models and 2D blueprints using CAD software.
- Develop Prototypes: Build physical models to validate functional product design hypotheses.
- Analyze Failures: Conduct root cause analysis to fix system malfunctions or deficiencies.
- Test Performance: Perform stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics experiments methodically.
- Oversee Production: Supervise factory-floor manufacturing to ensure strict quality control compliance.
- Estimate Resources: Prepare detailed project budgets, material timelines, and labor scopes.
- Write Manuals: Document technical operational procedures and system maintenance logs.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Design Software: Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
- Simulation Tools: Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
- Engineering Concepts: Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and material science.
- Soft Skills: Strong collaborative teamwork, critical problem-solving, and precise technical writing.
