Job Summary
Responsible for lifting, moving, positioning, and securing heavy equipment, materials, and machinery using cranes, hoists, chains, slings, and rigging equipment while ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and inspect rigging equipment before lifting operations
* Attach loads to cranes or lifting devices using slings, chains, hooks, and shackles
* Guide crane operators during lifting and positioning of loads
* Calculate load weight and select proper lifting equipment
* Ensure safe lifting practices according to safety standards
* Inspect and maintain rigging tools and lifting gear
* Use hand signals and radio communication during lifting operations
* Assist in loading, unloading, and shifting heavy materials
* Follow lifting plans and supervisor instructions
* Maintain housekeeping and workplace safety

Required Skills
* Knowledge of rigging and lifting techniques

Qualification
* High School / ITI preferred
* Rigger certification is an advantage
Experience
* 1–5 years experience in construction, shipyard, oil & gas, or industrial projects preferred

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
