We are expanding our admissions team and looking for passionate Student Academic Counselors who can guide students toward the right course and career path.
Job Summary
As a Student Academic Counselor, you will interact with prospective students, understand their educational goals, provide career guidance, explain our courses, and assist them throughout the admission process.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with students, have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding competitive examination preparation.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound admission calls.
- Follow up with student enquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email.
- Convert leads into admissions.
- Maintain student enquiry records in CRM.
- Explain course features, schedules, fees, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Coordinate with faculty and academic teams whenever required.
- Meet monthly admission targets.
- Build long-term relationships with students and parents.
- Conduct counselling during seminars, webinars, and admission events.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good communication in English (Preferred).
- Strong convincing and negotiation skills.
- Positive attitude with a student-first approach.
- Good listening skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- MS Excel and Google Sheets knowledge.
- CRM experience is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Any Bachelor's Degree.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can apply.
- Experienced Academic Counselors are highly preferred.
Experience
- 0–5 Years
- Experience in Education, EdTech, Coaching Institute, Training Institute, or Sales Counseling is preferred.
