Join our Wellbeing, Benefits, and Employee Experience organization where we aim to build a culture of wellbeing.The Benefits Specialist focuses on benefits administration for employees across assigned countries and regions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with Unity’s global benefits strategy. This role provides operational support and local expertise to ensure seamless program delivery. The scope of countries covered may evolve over time in line with business needs, and the successful candidate will be expected to adapt flexibly to changing regional responsibilities as well as working hours. A key part of this role involves triaging and responding to employee benefits inquiries submitted through our Jira ticketing system; the specialist will leverage AI to help research and address questions spanning multiple countries and regions
Key Responsibilities

Administer benefits programs for employees across assigned countries, including health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and time-off policies.

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees within the assigned geography with benefits-related questions, providing timely and accurate guidance.

Collaborate with Payroll, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related payments and compliance with local regulations.

Conduct audits and quality checks across benefits systems to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Maintain tracking and documentation related to benefits enrollment, compliance requirements, and employee communications.

Support annual benefits enrollment processes, including communications, vendor coordination, and employee support.

Monitor trends and changes in benefits regulations across assigned countries, proactively adapting processes to remain compliant.

Partner with external vendors to manage benefits-related services and address country-specific needs.

Provide feedback to the Senior Manager on opportunities to streamline benefits processes or enhance the employee experience.

Collaborate with other Benefits Specialists across the team to ensure consistency in program design and execution, supporting cross-regional coverage as required.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or related roles.

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business (or a related field), or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of benefits regulations across India and at least three additional countries, including statutory requirements

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple processes and priorities simultaneously.

Experience collaborating with Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure compliance and seamless administration.

Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and AI fluency Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance to employees and stakeholders.

Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where responsibilities and regional scope may evolve over time.

Interest in developing deeper expertise in international benefits management.

Flexibility to work across time zones as required

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

HR qualified or equivalent credentials.

Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and benefits administration platforms.

Familiarity with trends in employee wellbeing and engagement.

Experience and knowledge of Benefits across an entire region (e.g. EMEA, APAC, North America)
Leveling and Scope Indicators

Decision-Making Authority: Responsible for operational execution of benefits processes for employees within the assigned geography. Provides input but does not own final program design or governance.

Team Leadership: Individual Contributor role; collaborates with other Benefits Specialists across the team but does not manage direct reports.

Budget Responsibility: Supports benefits-related services and vendor coordination but does not own a budget directly.

Scope of Impact: Determined by business need; ensures seamless benefits administration across assigned countries, with the flexibility to support other regions as required.

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
