Job Summary
The TGT Hindi teacher will be responsible for teaching Hindi to students at the secondary school level, developing their language, grammar, reading, writing, and communication skills, and supporting their overall academic development.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Hindi according to the prescribed school curriculum and syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and assessments.
- Explain Hindi grammar, literature, poetry, prose, and language skills effectively.
- Assess students' academic performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, assignments, and student progress.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide remedial guidance.
- Encourage reading, creative writing, speaking, and effective communication in Hindi.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, examinations, and school activities.
- Integrate appropriate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities such as Hindi debates, essay writing, poetry, quizzes, and cultural programs.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hindi or a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification.
- Qualification in CTET/TET, where applicable according to the school's or recruiting authority's requirements.
- Good command of Hindi language and grammar.
- Relevant teaching experience is desirable but may vary by institution.
