We are looking for a Senior Travel Consultant to join our team in Shimla. You will assist clients with travel planning, bookings, and itinerary management while ensuring a smooth and memorable customer experience. You will coordinate with hotels, cab operators, and travel partners to deliver reliable, end-to-end travel solutions.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound travel inquiries, bookings, and customer support calls
- Assist clients with hotel reservations, cab bookings, and customized travel itineraries
- Coordinate with hotels, cab operators, and travel partners to ensure seamless operations
- Provide travel recommendations, package details, and cost estimates
- Resolve booking issues and customer queries promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and customer details
- Stay updated on travel trends, hotel rates, and transportation options
- Work closely with the sales and operations team to optimize service delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 1–3 years of experience in a travel agency or customer-facing travel role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good negotiation skills to secure the best deals for clients
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, CRM software)
- Ability to multitask, manage details, and work well in a team
- Genuine passion for travel and hospitality
Good to Have
- Experience with travel booking systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, etc.)
- Knowledge of local and domestic tourist circuits
- Familiarity with online travel portals and booking platforms
