- Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions
- Review prescriptions for correct dosage, interactions, and contraindications
- Provide drug information and recommendations to doctors and nursing staff
- Monitor patient medication therapy and report adverse drug reactions
- Maintain patient medication records and documentation
- Manage inventory, including stock procurement, storage, and expiry tracking
- Ensure proper storage conditions for medicines and controlled substances
- Educate patients on medication use, dosage, and side effects
- Supervise pharmacy assistants and ensure smooth pharmacy operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy department
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)
- Valid registration with State Pharmacy Council
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of medications and drug interactions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
