We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven Corporate Sales Leader with extensive experience in the Solar Energy industry, specifically in Solar Inverters, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), Hybrid Energy Storage Solutions, Rooftop Solar, and Renewable Energy Products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong business acumen, exceptional deal-closing capabilities, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strategic customer relationships across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the corporate sales function and drive aggressive revenue growth across Solar Inverters, BESS, Hybrid Energy Storage Systems, Rooftop Solar, and related renewable energy solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectives and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify, acquire, and manage key corporate customers, channel partners, EPC companies, industrial clients, and large commercial accounts.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and consistently deliver against revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
- Drive new business acquisition by leveraging industry relationships, market intelligence, and consultative selling approaches.
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations and successfully close complex business deals with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, consultants, EPC contractors, and industry influencers.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to develop customer-centric solutions and market strategies.
- Mentor, guide, and inspire the sales team while fostering a high-performance, results-oriented, and growth-driven culture.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances that enhance market penetration and accelerate business growth.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting, sales planning, and performance reviews with strong focus on accountability and execution excellence.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, customer meetings, and strategic business engagements.
- Demonstrate exceptional business judgment, street-smart negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles with confidence and professionalism.
- Act as a growth catalyst for the organization by continuously identifying new revenue streams, market opportunities, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Corporate Sales, Business Development, or Revenue Leadership within the Solar and Renewable Energy industry.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles managing revenue targets, key accounts, and sales teams.
- Strong expertise in Solar Inverters, BESS, Hybrid Storage Systems, Rooftop Solar, Solar EPC, and Renewable Energy Solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and delivering significant business growth.
- Strong network across corporate customers, industrial clients, EPC organizations, distributors, and channel partners across India.
- Exceptional negotiation, relationship management, and business deal-closing capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, and growth-focused professional with a strong ownership mindset.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment.
