Role Purpose
Lead the HR strategy and people agenda, partnering closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee experience and business transformation initiatives across geographies.The incumbent will be expected to be a forward-thinking HR leader who combines strategic thinking, innovation, data-driven decision-making, and business acumen to build high-performing organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Business Unit leadership to define and execute the people strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, capability building, and change management initiatives.
- Lead the end-to-end HR agenda for the business unit, encompassing Talent Management, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, HR Operations, and Employee Engagement.
- Drive organization effectiveness initiatives, including restructuring, productivity enhancement, and operating model transformation.
- Design and implement leadership development, succession planning, and high-potential talent programs to build a robust leadership pipeline.
- Lead the Learning & Development agenda by identifying capability gaps, driving competency development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Drive the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring goal alignment, differentiated performance practices, and a high-performance culture.
- Oversee HR Operations to ensure seamless delivery of employee lifecycle processes, policy governance, compliance, and employee experience.
- Provide strategic guidance on Employee Relations matters, fostering a positive work environment and proactively managing employee concerns and organizational risks.
- Drive employee engagement and culture-building initiatives that strengthen organizational health, inclusion, and leadership effectiveness.
- Leverage people analytics and workforce insights to identify trends, influence business decisions, and measure the impact of HR interventions.
- Bring external market intelligence, benchmark best practices, and introduce innovative people initiatives to enhance organizational capability.
- Lead and contribute to one or more HR Centres of Excellence (COEs), driving enterprise-wide programs, policies, and scalable people solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with senior business leaders and stakeholders across geographies, acting as a trusted advisor and change catalyst.
- Drive strategic HR initiatives that enhance business performance, organizational capability, and overall people effectiveness while ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term vision and objectives.
Experience
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1522 years of HR experience with significant exposure as a Business HR Leader in large, complex, and geographically dispersed organizations.
- Full-time MBA/PGDM in HR from a premier institution (XLRI, TISS, IIMs).
- Proven experience in driving organization transformation and strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong expertise in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Organization Effectiveness, and Employee Engagement.
- Strong understanding of HR Analytics, Workforce Planning, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in leading or partnering with HR COEs is preferred.
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Innovative, strategic, and intellectually curious leader with high learning agility and executive presence.
