About the Role
Mahalakshmi Group of Institutions is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Telecaller to join our admissions team. The candidate will be responsible for contacting prospective students and parents, providing information about our academic programs, handling admission enquiries, and following up with leads to support student admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents regarding admissions.
- Respond to incoming calls and admission-related enquiries professionally.
- Explain courses, eligibility, fees, facilities, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Understand the requirements and interests of students and guide them appropriately.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and parents.
- Maintain and update lead information, call records, and follow-up status.
- Generate interest and convert qualified leads into admission enquiries and applications.
- Coordinate with the admission counsellors and internal teams for further counselling.
- Meet daily and monthly calling and admission-related targets.
- Participate in admission campaigns, promotional activities, and educational events.
- Prepare regular reports on calls, leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Maintain professional communication and a positive relationship with students and parents.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in telecalling, admissions, education counselling, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English, tamil and hindi
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Ability to handle multiple leads and follow-ups efficiently.
- Target-oriented, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
