We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Data Analytics Engineer to join our team. As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for building and implementing robust data analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable architectures, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs. A key aspect of this role involves ensuring data literacy within the organization, empowering users to understand and validate data effectively.
- Work with Clients to enable them on the Power BI Platform, teaching them how to construct an analytics ecosystem from the ground up.
- Advise clients on how to develop their analytics centers of excellence, defining and designing processes to promote a scalable, governed analytics ecosystem.
- Utilize Microsoft Power BI to design and develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports for end-users.
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable DAX and M code (Power Query).
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data analytics solutions to ensure efficient processing and query performance.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in cloud data analytics, big data technologies, and data visualization tools.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of data analytics solutions with existing systems and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.
- Promote data literacy and data validation best practices across teams.
- 3+ years in Power BI for designing interactive dashboards and reports. Previous experience with the Looker Platform is a plus.
- Experience working with Google BigQuery and the Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Comprehension of Power BI's security capabilities and supporting multiple personas in the platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in promoting data literacy and enabling users to understand and validate data.
- An understanding of conversational analytics and experience working with PowerBI Copilot is a plus.
- Microsoft Power BI certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
