Position Overview
We are looking for an Academic Support Intern (Tutor) who will assist students in understanding concepts, organizing their academic work, and maintaining consistent study discipline.
This role is not limited to lecturing.
You will work closely with students in a structured environment to:
- Clarify concepts
- Support doubt resolution
- Help manage daily study tasks
- Encourage independent learning habits
Key Responsibilities
1. Concept Clarification & Subject Support
- Assist students in understanding subject concepts (Maths / Science / English, etc.)
- Help break down difficult topics into simple steps
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving
2. Homework & Task Monitoring
- Guide students in completing assigned work
- Ensure tasks are completed properly, not superficially
- Help students prioritize pending work
3. Study Planning Support
- Assist students in planning daily and weekly study routines
- Help them organize subjects based on deadlines and difficulty
- Encourage consistent revision habits
4. Doubt Assistance & Resource Guidance
- Help students resolve academic doubts
- Guide them toward appropriate learning resources when needed
- Encourage independent thinking before providing direct answers
5. Progress Observation
- Observe patterns in student performance
- Identify areas where additional support is required
- Maintain simple progress records under supervision
6. Interactive Learning Support
- Assist in conducting small practice sessions
- Support quizzes, worksheet sessions, and revision activities
- Encourage active participation and engagement
7. Responsible Use of Learning Tools
- Help students use digital tools responsibly
- Ensure technology supports understanding, not copying
- Monitor focus and discipline during digital sessions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed:
- B.Sc / B.A / B.Com / BCA / B.Tech
- Or any graduate with strong subject knowledge
- Good academic foundation in at least one subject
- Strong communication skills
- Calm and patient approach
- Willingness to work in a structured environment
