Job Summary
KG Cinemas is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our cinema facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, equipment, fixtures, and related components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, equipment malfunctions, and system failures using appropriate testing instruments and tools.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and maintenance requirements.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical installations.
- Connect and service electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, panels, switches, and control systems.
- Test electrical systems and circuits using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to verify proper operation and safety.
- Plan and execute electrical installations in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and local electrical codes.
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrician in commercial, industrial, or entertainment facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and local regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
