Position: Accountant
School: The Suraka School
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting and financial transactions of the school.
- Maintain records of fees, expenses, invoices, and vendor payments.
- Prepare vouchers, receipts, and financial reports.
- Manage bank reconciliation and petty cash records.
- Coordinate with management regarding budgeting and financial planning.
- Maintain employee salary records and assist in payroll processing.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support audit and compliance-related activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com) or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, GST, and accounting software.
- Prior experience in school accounting will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
