About the Role
Gyrus AI is looking for a Senior VFX Artist to own the full visual effects pipeline end-to-end from plate assessment through final delivery. You'll play a central role in our Virtual Product Placement and in-scene advertising work, seamlessly integrating brands and objects into video content so they look completely native to the scene. This is a hands-on role for someone who can work independently across every stage of a shot.
Responsibilities
- Handle the complete VFX workflow end-to-end: tracking, matchmoving, modeling, texturing, lighting, lookdev, rendering, and compositing
- Integrate 3D objects and product placements into live-action footage with photorealistic results
- Match lighting, color, grain, and lens characteristics so inserted elements blend seamlessly into the original plate
- Perform clean-up, rotoscoping, paint, and object removal as needed
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to refine and scale automated/AI-assisted VFX processes
- Maintain quality, consistency, and turnaround across a high volume of shots
- Troubleshoot pipeline and technical challenges independently
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional VFX experience in film, episodic, advertising, or a comparable production environment
- Strong command of the end-to-end pipeline; able to take a shot from raw plate to final delivery solo
- Expert in Nuke for compositing
- Proficiency in at least one 3D package (Maya, Houdini, Blender, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of tracking/matchmove, lighting, lookdev, and rendering
- A strong eye for photorealism, integration, and detail
- Demonstrated portfolio/reel showing seamless CG-into-live-action integration
Nice to Have
- Experience with product placement, in-scene advertising, or CTV content
- Familiarity with AI/ML-assisted VFX tools or automated pipelines
- Scripting skills (Python) for pipeline efficiency
- Experience working at scale or in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
