QA Automation Engineer – API, Playwright, Typescript
7+ Years
We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API validation and Playwright-based automation using TypeScript.
- Build and maintain TypeScript-based API validations using Playwright
- Validate API request/response behavior, headers, routing, and error handling
- Perform parity testing to ensure API outcomes align with workflow expectations
- Identify integration gaps, edge cases, and dependency issues
- Collaborate with Dev and QA teams for defect triage and resolution
- Work with DevOps teams for environment readiness and deployment validation
- Support UAT cycles, release readiness, and milestone validations
- 7+ years of experience in QA Automation or Software Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright & TypeScript
- Solid experience with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
- Understanding of API-led / middleware architectures
- Familiarity with webMethods, MuleSoft, or similar platforms
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
- Experience in API validation, testing support, and basic performance checks
