The Solar Site Survey Executive will be responsible for conducting detailed site surveys across Bihar and providing accurate technical assessments for solar installation projects. This is a field-intensive role requiring strong technical knowledge, on-site evaluation skills, and coordination with internal teams to ensure efficient project planning and execution.
The candidate will play a key role in determining system feasibility, collecting critical site data, and supporting the engineering team in designing optimized solar solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys across Bihar for residential, commercial, and institutional solar projects
- Perform detailed technical assessments including roof inspection, shadow analysis, load estimation, and system feasibility
- Take accurate site measurements, photographs, and collect all necessary technical and customer data
- Prepare structured site survey reports for design and engineering teams
- Provide basic technical explanation of system feasibility and configuration to customers at site
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and installation teams for smooth project execution
- Assist in net metering process by coordinating documentation and follow-ups with DISCOM offices
- Identify potential challenges at site and suggest practical technical solutions
- Ensure proper documentation of site conditions for accurate system design and costing
- Support installation team during execution phase, if required
Required Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid)
- Good understanding of site survey process and solar installation practices
- Ability to analyze site conditions and evaluate feasibility independently
- Basic knowledge of net metering process and DISCOM coordination
- Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
- Proficiency in basic documentation and reporting
- Willingness to travel extensively across Bihar for field surveys
Mandatory Requirements
- B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics
- Background in Solar Industry.
- Must be willing to travel across Bihar for site surveys
- Must have hands-on understanding of solar systems and installation basics
- Must be comfortable with fieldwork, outdoor conditions, and frequent travel
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
