About the role
We are looking for a Manager Payroll Systems Operations who will lead the delivery of payroll systems change across business-as-usual activity, production fixes and enhancements, ensuring solutions are compliant, controlled and fit for purpose.
Key Accountabilities:

Lead the delivery of payroll systems changes across business-as-usual work, production fixes and operational improvements.

Supporting Payroll Service Delivery during payroll execution

Provide expertise when system issues or challenges arise and work closely with IS&T and payroll to ensure they are investigated and resolved in a timely manner

Oversee testing, quality assurance, implementation and final review activities for payroll systems changes.

Support payroll service delivery teams during payroll execution by resolving system-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Manage core payroll systems activities across pay rules, wage types, tables, constants, organizational structures and allowances.

Work closely with payroll advisory, HR, IS&T and Global Payroll systems stakeholders to ensure change impacts are understood and implemented effectively.

Drive Agile ways of working within the team, including planning, backlog refinement, prioritization and delivery governance for payroll systems changes.

Support the maintenance of service standards and achievement of agreed service level agreements by ensuring payroll systems changes and issue resolution are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

Strong experience in payroll systems delivery, including business-as-usual support, issue resolution, fixes and enhancements.

Deep understanding of payroll systems controls, testing, governance and implementation requirements.

Good knowledge of payroll operations, statutory compliance, and local payroll regulations across multiple countries, like Australia, alongside exposure to Singapore, New Zealand, US, Canada, and broader APAC payrolls.

Strong MS Excel expertise is a preference. Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage

Ability to translate legislative, operational and business requirements into practical system solutions.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across payroll, HR and technology teams.

Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex operational environment.
