You will take ownership of product design, engineering development, customization, and technical documentation for industrial products.
- Lead design and development of industrial valves, industrial dampers, hoses and customized flow-control products.
- Prepare 3D models, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate BOMs, part codes, specifications, and design records in ERP systems.
- Review customer requirements, application details, and technical specifications to propose suitable design solutions.
- Prepare timely costing for new damper enquiries by coordinating technical inputs, material requirements, manufacturing feasibility, and quotation support.
- Support technical discussions with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders for product selection, customization, and design finalization.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Sales teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Drive product customization, value engineering, standardization, costing support, and new product development initiatives.
- Identify design improvements to reduce errors, improve product reliability, optimize material usage, and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain engineering discipline through drawing revision control, documentation accuracy, design review practices, and timely project completion.

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in product design, mechanical design, industrial equipment design, valves, dampers, HVAC systems, fabricated products, fluid-control products, or related engineering products.
- Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
- Experience in 3D modelling, 2D manufacturing drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, BOM preparation, and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication, machining, materials, tolerances, fitment, GD&T, and engineering standards.
- ERP/BOM management experience is preferred.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and support customer-specific technical requirements.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, communication skills, and ownership-driven execution.
