Job Description – CNC Setter

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Setter with 1–3 years of experience in setting and operating CNC machines. The ideal candidate should be capable of machine setup, tool changing, offset correction, and ensuring quality production while following safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up CNC Turning and VMC/CNC Milling machines according to production requirements.
Load programs and verify machine settings before production.
Perform tool setting, tool changing, and offset adjustments.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
Inspect first-off components using measuring instruments.
Monitor machining operations and maintain product quality.
Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
CNC machine setup and operation
Tool offset and tool changing
Reading engineering drawings
Knowledge of GD&T (Preferred)
Use of measuring instruments: Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge
Must have knowledge of CNC G-Code and M-Code. Knowledge of Fanuc
Basic troubleshooting skills
Good communication and teamwork
Qualifications
ITI – Turner / Fitter / Machinist
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
