_ AV PROGRAMMER_
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with clients, AV designers, and engineers to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design and develop control system programs for audiovisual equipment, including touch panels, control processors, switchers, and DSPs (Digital Signal Processors).
- Program and configure control systems using software tools such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, or Q-SYS.
- Customize user interfaces to provide intuitive control of AV systems, ensuring ease of use for end-users.
- Test and troubleshoot programmed systems to ensure functionality and performance meet project specifications.
- Provide training and support to end-users and technicians on the operation and maintenance of AV systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in AV programming.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in AV programming or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Crestron Simpl# and Simpl#, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter, or Q-SYS Designer.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual equipment, signal flow, and system integration.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with AV systems efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in programming and testing.
- Project management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
