Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Interior Projects Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team, specializing in electrical design and execution for commercial and high-end residential interior projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design concepts and on-site implementation, ensuring all electrical, lighting, and low-voltage systems are efficient, compliant with safety standards, and seamlessly integrated into the interior design.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Layout: Develop detailed electrical design plans, including lighting layouts, power socket locations, and load calculations, using AutoCAD, Dialux, or similar software. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and MEP consultants to ensure electrical drawings align with architectural layouts and ceiling designs.
Documentation: Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), technical specifications, and vendor drawings for electrical components (panels, lighting fixtures, switches).
Site Supervision: Supervise on-site installation of electrical, data, security, and lighting systems to ensure high-quality execution and adherence to timelines.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations comply with local electrical codes (NEC, IEC, or local standards) and safety regulations.
Testing & Handover: Conduct testing and commissioning of installed systems, troubleshooting any technical issues before final project handover.
Required Skills and Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Experience: 3+ years in electrical design, estimation, and site execution, with specific experience in interior fit-out projects. Knowledge: Deep understanding of lighting design, low-voltage systems (data, AV, security), and electrical panel design.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
