Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Engineer with a strong background in
Electrical Engineering and Radio Frequency (RF) systems to ensure the quality,
reliability, and performance of our defense products. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for quality assurance throughout the manufacturing and testing lifecycle,
ensuring compliance with defense quality standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of electrical,
electronic, and RF assemblies.
Conduct quality checks on PCBs, RF modules, power amplifiers, antennas,
wiring harnesses, power supplies, and communication systems.
Verify product quality against engineering drawings, BOMs, technical
specifications, and work instructions.
Perform functional testing and validation of RF and electronic systems.
Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective
and preventive actions (CAPA).
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports,
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and quality documentation.
Collaborate with Design, Production, Procurement, and Testing teams to resolve
quality-related issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and applicable
defense quality requirements.
Support supplier quality evaluations and incoming material inspections.
Monitor calibration records and ensure inspection and testing equipment are
maintained. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and
manufacturing efficiency.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Required Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication
Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or a related
discipline.
2–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in defense electronics,
RF systems, telecommunications, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing.
Required Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
Understanding of RF fundamentals, including antennas, RF signal propagation,
frequency bands, RF power, filters, and communication systems.
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as:
o Spectrum Analyzer
o Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)
o Signal Generator
o RF Power Meter
o Oscilloscope
o Digital Multimeter
Knowledge of PCB assembly, soldering standards, and electronic manufacturing
processes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, RF block diagrams, PCB
layouts, and technical drawings.
Experience in testing and inspection of RF modules, transceivers, antennas, and
electronic assemblies.
Familiarity with quality tools including:
o 5 Why Analysis
o Fishbone Diagram
o FMEA
o CAPA
o 8D Problem Solving
o Statistical Process Control (SPC) Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
Understanding of IPC standards such as IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is
preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Anti-Drone Systems, RF surveillance, wireless communication,
radar systems, or defense electronics.
Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing and environmental testing.
Understanding of defense manufacturing processes and product qualification.
Exposure to supplier quality management and quality audits.
