Business Development Manager – Diagnostic Pathology Laboratory
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead business growth and market expansion for our Diagnostic Pathology Laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare business development, sales management, client relationship building, and revenue generation. This role is pivotal in strengthening our market presence, developing strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable business growth across healthcare segments.
Experience: 5–6 years in Business Development, Sales, Healthcare Marketing, Corporate Relations, or Diagnostic Services. Experience in leading business development teams within the healthcare or diagnostics sector will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, referral networks, institutional tie-ups, and corporate partnerships.
- Expand the laboratory's presence among hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, corporates, and wellness programs.
Client & Relationship Management
- Build, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with doctors, hospitals, healthcare institutions, corporate clients, insurance partners, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive engagement and exceptional service support.
- Strengthen referral networks and enhance customer retention through effective relationship management.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Monitor team performance, establish KPIs, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and results.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver impactful business presentations, proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value business partnerships and institutional accounts.
- Track sales pipelines, revenue performance, and forecast business growth opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
- Identify emerging opportunities in diagnostic services, preventive healthcare, wellness screening programs, and corporate health initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align branding, awareness campaigns, and lead-generation activities.
Reporting & Business Analytics
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and business performance dashboards.
- Monitor key business metrics, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and revenue targets.
- Present periodic business performance reports and growth recommendations to senior management.
Brand Representation
- Represent the laboratory at healthcare conferences, medical associations, networking events, corporate meetings, and industry forums.
- Promote the laboratory's diagnostic capabilities, quality standards, and service excellence to key stakeholders.

- Prior experience in the diagnostics, pathology, healthcare, hospital, or pharmaceutical sector is highly desirable.

Ideal Candidate Profile
