Role Overview
The Patient Relationship Associate (PRA) will act as a bridge between the hospital and the community. The role involves building relationships with the public, local representatives, community leaders, institutions and patients to increase awareness about the hospital’s services and help patients access proper medical care.
This is a field-oriented role for individuals who enjoy interacting with people and creating meaningful community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with local communities, panchayat representatives, teachers, social workers and public institutions
- Spread awareness about hospital services, doctors and health programs
- Help patients and families understand how to access hospital services
- Coordinate health camps, awareness activities and outreach programs
- Maintain regular communication with patients and local contacts
- Support patient guidance and follow-up activities
- Strengthen the hospital’s reputation through ethical and respectful public interaction
- Work towards increasing patient footfall and community trust
Desired Qualities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Respectful and professional behaviour
- Interest in healthcare and public service
- Ability to travel locally and interact confidently with people
- Familiarity with local areas and communities is preferred
- Proficient in using IT tools and having a laptop
Eligibility
- Intermediate / Graduate preferred (any stream)
- Experience in marketing, public relations, healthcare outreach or field work is an advantage
- Freshers with strong communication skills are encouraged to also apply
