About the Role
Kaizen Airtreat Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and technically sound Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for HVAC, Cleanroom, and Turnkey projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement, vendor development, material planning, price negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of project materials.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle complete procurement activities from requirement planning to final dispatch at project sites
- Study engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications for accurate material procurement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules independently
- Optimize sourcing strategies to reduce procurement cost and lead time
- Identify and onboard new vendors and sourcing regions
- Coordinate with Design, Project, Site, and Stores teams for timely material delivery
- Maintain procurement documentation and ERP records
- Monitor procurement KPIs such as cost savings, delivery adherence, and vendor performance
Required Skills :
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and BOQs
- Knowledge of HVAC and Cleanroom materials preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with ERP/procurement software
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated and able to work under strict timelines
- Social media awareness for vendor networking and outreach
Qualification & Experience :
- B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience
- OR
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of procurement/vendor development experience✅ Experience in HVAC, Cleanroom, or Turnkey project procurement will be preferred.
