Job Description — SPM Design Engineer

Role Overview
We are looking for innovative and technically strong Mechanical Designers with hands-on experience in Jig & Fixture Design and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) such as Leakage Testing Machines, Light Testing Machines, and other automation setups. The candidate will play a key role in designing, validating, and implementing customized industrial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing SPM, Jigs, Fixtures, and automation equipment as per customer requirements
- Developing 3D & 2D models using SolidWorks
- Preparing technical drawings, BOM, assembly layouts, and manufacturing documentation
- Supporting fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning activities
- Performing design calculations and ensuring design reliability & safety
- Coordinating with production, electrical, and quality teams for smooth project execution
- Ensuring timely project delivery with cost-effective solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years experience in mechanical design
- Strong knowledge in:
SolidWorks (3D modeling, detailing)
SPM Design (Leakage Testing, Light Testing, Functional Testing, etc.)
Jig & Fixture Design for automotive/electronics components
- Understanding of GD&T, material selection & manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and creative engineering approach
- Immediate joiners preferred
Education
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gurugram, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- SolidWorks Fixture Designing: 1 year (Preferred)
