Job Summary
Fresh Pet Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and technically sound Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function of the plant. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing machinery and utilities.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime, minimizing production interruptions, improving equipment reliability, and leading maintenance teams to support efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all maintenance activities within the plant.
- Ensure smooth functioning of production machinery, utilities, and supporting equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Minimize machine breakdowns and ensure quick resolution of technical issues.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Monitor machine performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvement.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing activities.
- Manage maintenance manpower, contractors, and external service providers.
- Maintain records related to maintenance activities, spare parts, equipment history, and downtime analysis.
- Ensure availability and control of critical spare parts and maintenance inventory.
- Lead installation, commissioning, and modification of new equipment when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical safety practices, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and improvement plans for management review.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7–8 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance systems.
- Experience in handling production machinery, utilities, compressors, chillers, electrical systems, and plant equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Good communication, planning, and leadership skills.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in the PET Preform, Plastics, Packaging, Injection Moulding, or related manufacturing industries will be given strong preference.
