Role Overview
The Academic Counselor will be responsible for guiding prospective students, understanding their career goals, and helping them choose the right digital marketing courses. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, counseling experience, and a passion for education and career development.
Key Responsibilitie
- Counsel students and working professionals about digital marketing courses and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-ups, and student inquiries.
- Explain course details, curriculum, certifications, and career benefits clearly.
- Guide students through the admission and enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and student interactions in CRM/software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with trainers and academic teams for smooth onboarding of students.
- Conduct career guidance sessions and support students with course selection.
- Stay updated on digital marketing industry trends and academy offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, telesales, or EdTech counseling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong convincing and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts is preferred.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
