Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and technical skills)
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Summary
Decacorn Retail (P) Ltd. is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Laptop L2 Engineer to join our laptop refurbishment team. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware-related issues, performing component-level replacements, resolving QC failures, and ensuring refurbished laptops meet company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot laptop hardware issues.
- Repair laptops with faults related to:
- Motherboard (basic to intermediate level)
- Power issues
- Boot failures
- Charging problems
- Display and LCD issues
- Keyboard, touchpad, speaker, webcam, and battery faults
- Replace defective components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboard, LCD, hinges, cooling fans, DC jacks, Wi-Fi cards, and batteries.
- Resolve laptops rejected during Quality Control (QC).
- Install and configure Windows, BIOS updates, and required drivers.
- Perform functional testing after repairs to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain repair records and update job status.
- Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures while handling electronic components.
- Coordinate with the QC, Production, and Inventory teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Meet daily repair targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Good understanding of laptop architecture and components.
- Experience in laptop dismantling and reassembly.
- Knowledge of BIOS configuration and driver installation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware faults efficiently.
- Basic understanding of motherboard troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with major laptop brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, ASUS, and Apple (preferred).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Computer Hardware, IT, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant practical experience in laptop repair will also be considered.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
