1. Role Overview
Credility is expanding rapidly across NBFCs, HFCs and MFIs with multiple enterprise deployments, complex multi-year contracts, and a growing ARR base. We are hiring a Manager Finance & Compliance to build and lead a structured, disciplined, and future-ready finance function.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts and finance team and ensuring financial hygiene, strong cost controls, compliance excellence, accurate revenue recognition, and timely reporting.
This role is critical as the company transitions from founder-driven processes to a scalable, controlled, and team-led finance architecture.
Preferred Qualification

Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.

MBA (Finance) or CMA acceptable if backed by strong SaaS / enterprise finance experience.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Cost Control

Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cost plans across Product, Tech, Delivery, Support, and Sales.

Track budget vs. actuals, investigate variances, and recommend cost efficiencies.

Implement cost-controls for cloud/AI infra, product development, hiring, SaaS tools, and operational expenses.
B. Revenue Accounting & Contract Lifecycle Management

Maintain accurate revenue recognition across:

Implementation Fees
-
Change Requests
-
User License Revenue (ARR)
-
Multi-year contracts with milestone billing
-
Monitor billing schedules, renewal timelines, go-live completion, and license deployment for each customer.

Ensure hygiene in TCV, ARR, unbilled revenue, and deferred revenue tracking.
C. Billing, Collections & Working Capital Management
-
Oversee end-to-end invoicing processes with strict hygiene and documentation.

Work with internal teams to ensure timely collections and reduce outstanding receivables.

Manage vendor payments, payout cycles, and cashflow adherence.
-
Optimize working capital, including utilisation of OD facilities and treasury management.
D. MIS, Analytics & Cross-Functional Reporting
- Build and maintain a robust monthly MIS covering:

Revenue by line of business
-
Gross margins of different modules
-
Operating expenses by department
-
Cashflow position
-
Key KPIs such as active licenses, renewals, delays, customer delivery status
- Provide accurate financial insights to Founders and Department Heads for better operational decisions.
- AI tools knowledge to create dashboards for cost analysis, project profitability, people productivity, and renewal health.
E. Compliance, Audit & Statutory Oversight

Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, PF/ESIC, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other statutory requirements.

Liaise with external auditors for statutory audit, tax audit, legal and internal audits.

Maintain strong documentation, contracts repository, and financial governance systems.

Manage ESOP accounting, cap-table hygiene, and statutory secretarial processes (non-transactional).
F. Internal Controls, Systems & SOP Development

Establish and maintain SOPs across procurement, approvals, reimbursements, and vendor onboarding.

Strengthen internal financial controls—expense approvals, asset tracking, access controls, etc.

Implement scalable finance systems/ERP/MIS to support Credility’s growth.

Drive automation in financial workflows to minimise errors and improve efficiency.

Utilise AI-based tools for automation in reporting, emails, dashboards, and documentation.
G. Business Partnership Across Teams
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Sales, Delivery, and HR teams to:

Plan hiring budgets

Support pricing decisions
-
Track project expenses
H. Legal, Contract Governance & Risk Management
- Support review and structuring of commercial contracts (MSAs, SaaS agreements, implementation agreements, reseller partnerships) from a financial and risk perspective.

Identify and flag key risks in contracts including:

Revenue recognition implications

Liability and indemnity exposure
-
Payment terms and milestones
-
Termination and lock-in clauses
-
Ensure alignment between:

Signed contracts

Commercial proposals
-
Billing schedules
-
Revenue recognition policies

Maintain a centralised contract repository with clear tracking of:

Contract value (TCV/ARR)

Renewal dates
-
Pricing revisions
-
Change requests
-
Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with:

Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP)

Data privacy, security, and confidentiality obligations in enterprise contracts

Track and manage:

Vendor agreements

NDAs
-
Partner/reseller arrangements

Support audit readiness by ensuring contractual and legal documentation is complete, consistent, and accessible.
