Nivas Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating sustainable social impact through community development, education, healthcare, women empowerment, livelihood, and skill development initiatives. To support our infrastructure and community development projects, we are looking for an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of civil construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver civil construction projects aligned with the Foundation's mission and infrastructure development goals.
- Prepare project plans, construction schedules, budgets, BOQs, and resource allocation plans.
- Manage the execution of building construction, renovation, infrastructure, and community development projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, government authorities, CSR partners, and other stakeholders.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, estimates, and contract documents.
- Monitor project budgets, verify contractor bills, control project costs, and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, building codes, environmental guidelines, and workplace safety standards.
- Identify construction risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, site reports, and completion reports for management and donors, where applicable.
- Ensure quality control throughout all stages of construction and coordinate successful project handover upon completion.
- Mentor and guide site engineers and project staff to improve operational efficiency and project performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Civil).
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management will be an added advantage.
- 10–15 years of experience in civil construction project management.
- Proven experience in managing residential, commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or community development construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, budgeting, contract management, and site execution.

- Knowledge of government construction norms, tendering procedures, and statutory approvals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects under strict timelines.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and safety regulations is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively for project site visits.
