Duties & Responsibilities of QS/QA
1. Analyse and understand technical specifications, drawings and materials regarding various projects.
2. Prepare and review BOQs for different project elements.
3. Perform detailed rate analysis for all items of BOQ and provide reconciliation statements.
4. Calculate the quantities and prepare estimates.
5. Prepare work orders related to site with all terms and conditions established.
6. Monitor subcontractor payments and ensure cost control.
7. Value completed work and do detailed check of bill according to the site work status, terms and conditions of Work order, Specifications & drawings.
8. Conduct on-site measurements for payment certification.
9.Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
10. Reconciliation of estimated quantities with actual materials used in the ERP system and submitting weekly report on the same.
11. Processing and forwarding bills with the Work status report, after getting duly signed by Site head/Department head and contractor’s representative.
12. Check and analyse running bills of contractors and prepare MIS reports from the ERP system on a weekly basis.
13. Monitor material purchases and their consumption at site and report any variation.
14. Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and site activities to ensure compliance with the project specifications and quality standards.
15. Monitor construction processes to maintain adherence to quality control procedures.
16. Report any defects or deviations and follow up on corrective actions.
17. Prepare and maintain material testing check list, maintaining cube register, material sampling register, water proofing register, rejected material register etc.
18. Carry out Technical supervision of ongoing civil work on a daily basis.
19. To check and ensure that the work done is as per Project Specifications, Method Statement and as per approved drawings. Also to ensure that all approved and inspected materials are used.
20. Conduct various cement, steel, brick test like that initial and final setting time, consistency and strength etc.
21. Prepare quality control reports and checklists and provide MIS reports based on the ERP entries and actual site conditions and works carried out.
22. Ensure proper documentation of all QA/QC activities.
23. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quality compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
