About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Design Intern to join our team. The intern will work closely with product managers, developers, and senior designers to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences for web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to improve product usability.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Maintain and contribute to design systems and UI component libraries.
- Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and illustrations when required.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and product discussions.
- Perform usability testing and suggest design improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping techniques.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first design principles.
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects (academic, personal, or freelance work) is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend development concepts.
- Experience with design systems and component-based design.
- Familiarity with usability testing and analytics tools.
