Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to oversee and maintain product quality across the manufacturing line. The role involves developing QA systems, monitoring processes, conducting audits, leading root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control & Assurance
- Develop and implement QA procedures, SOPs, and inspection plans for manufacturing operations.
- Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review and approve quality control documentation, including test reports and certificates.
- Process Monitoring
- Monitor manufacturing line processes for consistency, repeatability, and defect reduction.
- Implement SPC (Statistical Process Control) and other quality tools for process improvement.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
- Problem Solving & Improvement
- Lead root cause analysis for non-conformities, using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA.
- Drive CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and follow-up effectiveness checks.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / industry-specific quality standards.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Maintain documentation for traceability and regulatory requirements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
- Train shop floor employees on quality awareness, inspection techniques, and standards.
- Act as the voice of the customer in quality-related discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Production or related field).
- 3–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of QA tools: SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, 8D methodology.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or industry-specific standards (as applicable).
- Strong knowledge of inspection methods, measuring instruments, and calibration.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
