Role Overview: As a Production Engineer specializing in industrial filter manufacturing, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of our filtration products. You will be responsible for optimizing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Process Optimization: Analyse existing manufacturing processes for industrial filter production and identify opportunities for optimization, including streamlining workflows, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency.
2. Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that industrial filters meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This includes establishing testing procedures, conducting inspections, and addressing any quality issues that arise during production.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery used in industrial filter production. This involves scheduling routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.
4. Production Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with production planning teams to develop and maintain production schedules for industrial filter manufacturing. Ensure that production goals are met while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing lead times.
5. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards in the production environment. Identify and address potential safety hazards, implement safety protocols, and provide training to production staff on safety procedures.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyse data related to production processes, equipment performance, and quality metrics. Use this information to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and make data-driven decisions to improve production efficiency and quality.
7. Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing production processes, reducing costs, and increasing overall efficiency. Implement lean manufacturing principles, conduct root cause analysis, and facilitate cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
8. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, procedures, and quality control measures for industrial filter manufacturing. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and document any changes or updates to production processes.
9. Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge of industrial filter manufacturing processes and equipment. Conduct training sessions, develop training materials, and mentor junior staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably in the industrial filtration industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control principles, and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per month
