Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities of the hospital, maintaining financial records, processing payments, monitoring billing and collections, and ensuring compliance with hospital financial policies and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
- Handle hospital cash receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
- Verify patient billing, insurance claims, and payment collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and departmental accounts regularly.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in payroll processing and salary-related documentation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with vendors/customers.
- Maintain confidentiality of hospital financial information.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements.
- Support procurement and inventory payment verification processes.
- Assist management in budgeting and financial planning activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance / Accounting.
- MBA Finance or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in accounts, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setup.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Familiarity with hospital billing systems and TPA insurance processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, ERP, or hospital management software.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Working Conditions
- Work may involve extended hours during month-end closing or audits.
- Coordination with multiple departments including billing, pharmacy, HR, and procurement.
Salary
As per hospital norms and experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
