Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily production activities in the machine shop and fabrication department.
- Ensure timely completion of production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality teams for smooth production flow.
- Monitor machine utilization, manpower allocation, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Supervise manufacturing, assembly, and testing of Gear Boxes, Drive Shafts, Fan Assemblies, and related mechanical equipment.
- Monitor machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
- Ensure adherence to fabrication drawings, process specifications, and production schedules.
- Minimize production downtime and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturing best practices.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Supervise fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly activities.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of machine shop operations, fabrication processes, welding, and assembly.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management, and shop floor supervision.
- Ability to troubleshoot production-related issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in handling machine shop and fabrication operations independently.
- Result-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities.
Work Location: Nuh, Haryana
Compensation: ₹4.0 – ₹5.0 LPA (Based on experience and performance)
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
