Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of [Management Trainee and/or Assistant Manager] [Accounts Payable]! The SME / Team Leader Accounts Payable is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounts payable operations ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and leading a team to meet service level agreements (SL As). The role involves process improvement stakeholder management and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Responsibilities: - Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures to ensure high-level customer service for internal and external customers - Process invoices with PO buy-sell Process (Post G Rs manually) - Reconcile vendor statements GIRIR clearing and Debit balances - Ensure quality of AP processes handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country - Engage with multiple partners including both internal and external - As a team leader you will also supervise and guide your team in daily activities - SO Ps revisit at regular intervals and the latest updates are incorporated post-client signoff - Monitor SL As KP Is and productivity metrics - Resolve complex vendor queries and escalations - Perform vendor reconciliations and review exception items - Ensure compliance with accounting policies internal controls and statutory requirements - Support month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals and provisions - Coordinate with internal stakeholders (procurement business treasury) - Drive process improvements standardization and automation initiatives - Support internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness - Provide coaching training and performance feedback to team members
