Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and target-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead and manage a team of business development executives in the EdTech domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sales along with the ability to guide and drive a team toward achieving consistent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5+ sales executives (BDEs)
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team
- Actively participate in sales activities, including outbound calls and lead conversion
- Monitor team performance and provide continuous feedback, coaching, and support
- Ensure effective lead management, follow-ups, and conversion tracking
- Implement strategies to improve team productivity and overall sales performance
- Maintain and present reports on team performance and sales metrics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with business goals
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, with prior team handling experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Hands-on experience in tele-calling / inside sales / business development
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in Malayalam and English is mandatory
- Target-driven mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to motivate and drive team members to achieve goals
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking systems is an added advantage
Preferred Profile
- Experience in the EdTech industry or similar service-based sales environment.
