Program Background:
Firebird Institute of Research in Management offers a full-time, AICTE-approved PGDM/MBA program with strong industry engagement, internship-integrated curriculum, and career-oriented specialization tracks. The Placement Head will play a crucial role in shaping the career paths of our students by ensuring effective corporate partnerships and high-quality placement opportunities.
Role Objective:
To lead the Training and Placement Department with a strategic focus on employability enhancement, corporate engagement, and successful internship and final placement outcomes for PGDM/MBA students.
Key Responsibilities:
· Placement Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a robust campus placement strategy aligned with industry needs and academic timelines.
· Corporate Relations: Establish and strengthen partnerships with companies across sectors to facilitate internships and final placements.
· Internship Management: Coordinate regular internships (daily half-day internships), summer internships, and final project placements in sync with program design.
· Student Skill Development: Organize aptitude training, communication workshops, resume-building sessions, and mock interviews to enhance student employability.
· Placement Drives & Events: Plan and execute campus recruitment drives, industry conclaves, and career fairs; maintain placement calendar.
· Data Management & Reporting:Maintain placement records, prepare detailed MIS reports, and provide data for AICTE, NBA, and institutional reviews.
· Alumni & Industry Engagement: Leverage alumni networks for mentoring, internship support, and placement referrals; develop thought leadership programs with industry experts.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Educational Qualification: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized university/institution.
· Experience:10–15 years of relevant experience in training and placements in management education, preferably at an AICTE-approved PGDM/MBA institution.

Remuneration:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and performance. Incentives applicable based on placement targets and outcomes.
